Data Team Pt. Two:Powerful Partnerships

In two of our projects aimed at improving educational outcomes and safety, our partners have played an integral role in driving success. The first project, the development and building of the Early Childhood Education Resource Hub, is focused on creating a centralized platform to support families and children with accessible and high-quality resources in Rochester. Through collaboration with the Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association (IMAA), we are able to ensure the resource hub is not only comprehensive but also tailored to meet the diverse needs of families Intercultural Mutual Assistance Associationand children in Rochester. Their help has been instrumental in shaping content that is both relevant and engaging for all stakeholders involved.

The second initiative, the STOP Grant, centers on critical research around school safety and violence prevention. This project seeks to address the growing concerns regarding the well-being of students and staff by analyzing data, developing prevention strategies, and creating safer school environments. With the support of Lourdes High School and the University of Chicago Illinois, our research is grounded in evidence-based practices, ensuring that the findings can lead to actionable solutions. Lourdes’ commitment to understanding and improving school safety has given us a great partnership.

These partnerships are vital to the success of these projects, as they bring together specialized knowledge, resources, and a shared commitment to fostering safer and more enriching educational experiences.
