ABOUT THIS ROLE
This role exists to help promote and facilitate a culture of continuous improvement and sustained collaborative action so that we can achieve systems transformation in Rochester, MN. By shifting policies, practices, resources, and power structures across systems, we seek to eliminate structural racism and advance equitable outcomes for children, youth and young adults. The Network Facilitator will be responsible for managing the support and oversight of our networks, their identified strategies around key priority outcomes and pilots that are derived from these strategies. This position reports to the Cradle 2 Career Executive Director.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
Grow, develop and cultivate relationships with collaborative action network partners and community stakeholders, including, but not limited to, leaders in the sectors of education, business, faith, nonprofit, philanthropic, and civic sectors.
Work collaboratively with network conveners to plan for and facilitate network success.
Provide networks with clear methods and process guidance.
Effectively manage monthly network meetings and task completion between meetings.
Assess and evaluate network member understanding and satisfaction at all stages of the partnership through the process of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
Create and sustain a participatory environment.
Manage group conflict and facilitate resolution and/or consensus.
Encourage creativity.
Maintain professional knowledge and standing.
Engage in regular professional development focused on facilitation and strategies for systems change (e.g. StriveTogether offerings, International Association of Facilitators trainings, Community Co-design trainings, etc.)
Communicate and work collaboratively with C2C colleagues, volunteers, interns and/or partners to provide seamless support for networks.
Lead, attend and/or present at Cradle 2 Career Leadership Table and other committee meetings as necessary to provide information on progress of networks, through presentations and written reports.
Maintain and archive appropriate documentation of progress of networks including, but not limited to, attendance records, meeting minutes, work products, and relevant research.
Report out network progress through regular communications with C2C stakeholders (e.g. newsletters, blogs, co-design reports, etc.).
Other duties as assigned.
(PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF YOU:
Possess the following characteristics:
2-3 years of applicable experience in effectively facilitating cross-sector or multi-organizational teams which consistently produced results in real-time. Facilitation certification preferred, however professional development to obtain/maintain will be provided during employment.
A commitment to promoting equity in education and demonstrated cultural competence.
Demonstrated facilitation skills; variety of participatory processes, active listening skills, ability to observe and provide feedback, create a climate of trust and safety, ability to identify barriers to participation and ways to address them, ability to establish clear context, reflectiveness and adaptability, use of a variety of approaches to reaching consensus, integrity, ability to honor the wisdom of the group, and an ability to encourage the capacity and experience of others.
Connector: ability to build mutually trusting relationships and bridge between sectors.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with a diverse range of individuals and communities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong organizational and time management skills.

Demonstrated written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required.
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in applications like Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and the ability to transfer knowledge between platforms is required. Experience with or ability to learn different internet-based applications is desired. Examples include Canva, Microsoft Visio, Squarespace, and others.
Willingness to work collaboratively and participate on a variety of teams.

The Operations Manager is a key member of the Cradle 2 Career team. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient operations of the C2C backbone and Leadership Table. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, a passion for our mission, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Operations Manager reports to the Executive Director. They work closely with the C2C backbone team and Leadership Table, providing support for internal and external operations, communications, and committee work.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
Operations Management
Participate as a member of C2C backbone team to provide a united, visible and strong presence across the organization to help instill new thinking, focus and prioritize efforts adn operationalize strategic objectives.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring that programs and supports align with C2C’s mission and vision.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external partners or potential partners.
Communicate proactively to provide for day-to-day facilities needs.
Work with the Executive Director and other staff on accurate and timely completion and/or approval or organizational documents (e.g. request forms, expense reimbursements, purchasing, etc.)
Develop, implement and analyze internal operational processes and procedures. Identify areas for process improvement and enhancement.
Leadership Table Management
With the Executive Director, provide support to the Leadership Table, including managing committees and communicating with individual volunteers as needed.
Maintain Leadership Table and committee routines, including meeting schedules and documentation.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, reports, surveys and presentations.
Develop strategies and routines to drive Leadership Table engagement and development in accordance with Cradle 2 Career’s policy governance model.
Project Coordination
Coordinate the logistics of programs, meetings and events, ensuring all operational needs are met.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and grant requirements.
Administrative support
Assist in annual budget preparation.
Monitor expenditures to ensure financial accountability.
Work with the Rochester Area Foundation to finalize financial reporting.
Work with third party tech support to provide support for technology systems.
Other duties as assigned.

TITLE: EPC Director of Data Leadership

Greater Twin Cities United Way Remote Work Policy requires 20% in-office work; if the candidate is located outside of the Twin Cities, we can discuss options to work at one of our other EPC member organization sites or another location.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE
The Director of Data Leadership, forging a path for this newly created position, scopes and drives work toward two primary purposes. First, the Director collaborates deeply in and with communities to help them better utilize available and requestable state education-to-workforce data. Second, the Director convenes and facilitates one or more cross-sector education-to-workforce task forces (at the outset) and ongoing communities of practice (at a later time) in order to identify and address gaps in our statewide integrated education-to-workforce data systems.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Director is responsible for driving systemic change through these primary activities:
(50%) Provide technical assistance to communities to do the following: access state data, add their own data into the mix, make meaning of multiple data sets, identify gaps in outcomes and opportunities, and use data to better understand the root causes of those gaps, with the goal of improving systems to produce better and more equitable education-to-workforce experiences and outcomes. Create products and services to standardize this work. Bring feedback from community members to data holders and decision-makers. Align with equity principles, offering additional support to communities with less technical expertise and/or fewer resources to support the use of data and technology. Listen to and learn from our community partners.
(20%) Create and convene one or more cross-sector working groups to inform this work and to create a priority list of improvements and upgrades to Minnesota’s existing integrated education-to-workforce data infrastructure, to be presented to funders and/or elected officials.
(10%) Be a connector for our organization and this work, ensuring that we are leveraging available networks (examples: state agency partners, elected officials, funders, the business community, etc.) and making connections with the leaders and champions of related areas of work.
(10%) Be the public face of our organization and this work in a variety of local, regional, state, and national settings, and proactively connect, collaborate, and learn with peers leading related best-practice work.
(10%) Tend to your field learning, skill development, and planning and reflection needs in order to maximize your positive impact.
DESIRED PREVIOUS PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Minimum ten years prior experience, preferably serving as a manager, director, or senior team member in a successful organization in the education, public, and/or nonprofit sectors
Bachelor’s Degree, with advanced degree preferred
Extensive experience in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite, including Power BI
Extensive experience with longitudinal, state-wide data sets and systems
Extensive experience working in and with communities impacted by poverty and/or racism, and supporting them toward upward economic mobility and increased levels of self-determination
Engagement with a broad network of professional peers working in cradle-to-career or education-to-workforce spaces
Experience with critical organizational functions including strategic planning, fiscal management, program management, project management, and public relations
Key competencies include: ensure accountability, be action oriented, drive engagement, drive results, build networks, instill trust, employ a strong customer focus, leverage interpersonal savvy, leverage organizational savvy, leverage tech savvy, manage ambiguity, and manage complexity.
