Summer: My favorite season of the year!
Every year, there seems to be adventures waiting around the bend, new things to see and do and people with whom to connect! While these things can definitely fill up a calendar, they rarely feel like obligations. They are simply opportunities yet to explore!
There is a similar feeling at C2C. As we close a school year filled with new and/or strengthened partnerships, a plan we are taking action on and evidence that our collective work is making a difference, we are thrilled to be exploring the opportunities that lie ahead! A few of those opportunities include:
Hosting our 3rd Annual Education Summit this fall - October 9th for your calendar!
Being invited by StriveTogether, our parent organization, to complete an application for Systems Change designation
Continuing our collective work to address FAFSA completion in our community
Completing 2 Community Co-design processes (with another one starting this summer) and subsequent reports (on access to adequate prenatal care and social-emotional learning in early childhood) which will inform the next steps of our networks
It is a wonderful time for our initiative! We would not be here without you; our network, leadership table, parent council members, other partners, funders, staff, volunteers and friends! Thank you for being C2C with us! Have a great summer!
