Communicating Success

The highlight of my year, the Annual Education Summit, was a roaring success for 2024! If you haven’t heard about the summit yet, firstly, which rock do you live under and how can I better reach you? (Just joking, of course, and welcome to the mailing list!) And secondly, I would want you to know how this event is brings together passionate community members dedicated to improving educational outcomes and economic mobility for all youth and young adults in Rochester. This year's theme, "Power in Partnership: Our Collective Impact," celebrated the collaborative spirit that drives our work.

The Summit featured 32 diverse sessions from community partners, including presentations from all C2C staff members. We also enjoyed an inspiring keynote speech by Myles Shaver and a thought-provoking panel discussion with local education leaders, providing valuable insights into our community's educational landscape. It's an unparalleled opportunity to network, share ideas, and contribute to our collective vision for Rochester’s youth.

I’m proud to have presented on my cumulative work from the last year and half in revamping our communications strategy. This work has resulted in a new website, refreshed branding, and reinvigorated community engagement. These changes have significantly amplified our message and the incredible work of C2C and our numerous community partners. I loved to sharing the how and the why behind this communications overhaul. Thank you to everyone who took part in this exciting and impactful day! :)

If you missed us last Wednesday, but would like to learn more about the presentations, keynote, or panel, please reach out to me. Remember, we are all C2C, and it's our partnerships that make this community strong. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of Rochester's youth. I am beyond excited to see our work grow through the year. As always, the Summit was a vehicle for our community to celebrate our collective achievements, share knowledge, and chart the course for future success in our ongoing mission to uplift all young people in Rochester!
